Colombian radio host and composer JM Sánchez followed the march from Bogotá to Punta de Vacas, Argentina. He represented the organization Seres de Paz and travelled as part of the Viajer@s por la Paz. While waiting to cross into Ecuador, he shared the following testimonio (Transcription and English translation below):

Bueno, entonces estamos en este proceso de la Marcha Mundial por la Paz y la Noviolencia. Hago parte de la corporación Seres de Paz, que dirige el amigo y hermano Fabio Forero. También está allí Milton Ciriaco, General de la Paz de Buena Aventura, y Diego, percusionista. Soy JM Sánchez, locutor de radio, pacifista, compositor de salsa. Y estamos alegres, estamos saliendo de Ipiales, y estamos a punto de llegar a la república hermana de Ecuador con el ánimo de seguir en estos ejercicios pacifistas. La experiencia personal del sujeto JM Sánchez en estas gestas, que yo les llamo, las gestas libertarias, es una experiencia interesante. He podido conocer más gente, gente de Alemania, de Italia, de Chile, de Ecuador, gente de Ipiales. Es decir, es toda una experiencia internacional. Es todo un aprendizaje desde mi parte. Es toda una concordia, lo siento como una hermandad, lo siento como una buena energía. Y me siento contento pues de estar con ustedes y de compartir con ustedes esta experiencia. Y espero que este projecto que dirige Antonia sea para bien para todos los pueblos, para todas las personas. Y que algún día realmente no muy lejano haya paz en el mundo entero, y la noviolencia. Justicia, equidad, que toda la gente logre sus sueños. Que trabajemos por construir un mundo diferente, una Colombia mejor, un Chile mejor, una Italia mejor, un México mejor, un Ecuador mejor. Es decir, una Bolivia, Argentina, y todos los pueblos que mejoremos en nuestras vidas. Well, so we are in this process of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence. I am part of the organization Seres de Paz [Beings of Peace], directed by the friend and brother Fabio Forero. Also there are Milton Ciriaco, Peace General from Buenaventura, and Diego, percussionist. I am JM Sánchez, radio host, pacifist, and salsa composer. And we are happy. We are leaving Ipiales and we are about to arrive at the sister republic of Ecuador with the intention of keeping these pacifist exercises going. The personal experience of the person JM Sánchez in these exploits, as I call them, the liberatory exploits, is an interesting experience. I have been able to meet more people, people from Italy, Chile, Ecuador, [and] people from Ipiales. That is, it is entirely an international experience. It is entirely a learning experience on my part. It is entirely a concord. I experience something like fraternity. I feel something like a good energy. And so I feel happy to be with all of you and to be sharing this experience with you. And I hope that this [Memoscopio] project run by Antonia may be of good to all peoples, and for everyone. And that some day really not to far from now there may be peace in the entire world, and nonviolence. Justice. Equity. That each person may achieve her dreams. That we may work to build a different world; a better Colombia, a better Chile, a better Italy, a better Mexico, a better Ecuador.
