The March, Me, the World and the Future

Montserrat, was the oldest member of the World March base team, the group of volunteers who completed the 96 days of marching around the World. She shared her testimonio after the Blessing Ceremony by the Amautas of Tiwanaku, Bolivia. In the third video we see her speaking a fews later at the World March concert in the ex-torture center of Villa Grimaldi, Santiago de Chile, after having travelled from Bolivia through Peru and Chile. Testimonio about the World March

Carmen is a nurse's assistant from Spain and longtime participant in the humanist movement. Along with her partner, she travelled with the Viajeros por La Paz along the March's route in the Andes, after having participated on activities in Spain (translation below):

La Marcha y Yo. La imágen de la Marcha Mundial por la Paz y la No-violencia conecta con mi vida, como una necesidad de sentirme conectada en un proyecto con mucha gente que queremos construir un mundo de relaciones humanas sin violencia.
La Marcha y el Mundo. El rol de la Marcha es crear conciencia de qué es la no-violencia. Para esto reconocemos que vivimos en un mundo de relaciones violentas, de guerras armadas, de desigualdad de oportunidades, seres humanos que mueren de hambre, de enfermedades curables, enfermedades mentales en aumento... Denunciar la violencia, al tiempo proponer la metodología de la no-violencia, me parece lo mas importante.
 La Marcha y el Futuro. La Marcha ha creado relaciones humanas y proyectos que humanizan nuestra mundo cada vez día mas. Esta marcha simbólica de tres meses me gustaría que se convirtiera en la marcha diaria de mi pensamiento, sentimiento y acción.
