Anderson followed the World March from his city Bogotá to Punta de Vacas, Argentina, as part of the Viajer@s por la Paz. At the time he was 20 years old and worked at a printing press. He shared the following testimonio while waiting at the Colombian customs office to attend a WM rally for binational cooperation at Ecuador border (Transcription and English translation below):

Hola mi nombre es Anderson Ramirez, soy de Colombia. Pertenezco al movimiento humanista desde hace mucho tiempo, ya no me acuerdo. Y bueno, la Marcha Mundial para, pues, mi generó muchas expectativas y espero que podamos aportar algo, a cada país, a cada governante, que quede en la conciencia de ellos que esto tiene que cambiar y que no siempre se tienen que solucionar las cosas con violencia. Respecto a mi rol en la Marcha Mundial, espero aportar a mi grupo con el que voy de viajero y a la gente que me encuentre por el camino, no sé, dejándoles algún mensaje por la paz aportándoles algo, insignificante, pero que les quede para siempre. En cuánto a la Marcha Mundial y su contribución en el mundo, es importate que la gente tome conciencia y mire que no somos pocos lo que queremos que haya paz, sino que somos varias voces que nos unimos en torno a esta causa tan linda y tan especial como es la paz, y que ojalá que en algún momento podamos llegar a grandes líderes que nos apoyen con esta iniciativa.

Hi my name is Anderson Ramirez, I am from Colombia. I belong to the humanist movement since a long time ago, I don’t even remember when. And, well, the World March for me generated many expectations and I hope we can contribute something, to each country and each political leader, so it may remain in their consciousness that this has to change, and that we do not always have to resolve things through violence. In regards to my role in the World March, I hope to contribute to the group I go with as a traveler and to the people I may encounter along the way, don’t know, leaving them a mesaje for peace, contributing something to them, insignificant, that may stay with them for ever.
